First, we need to understand the material of the windscreen. There are a total of four materials to choose from, PMMA, PVC, PET, PC.
PVC and PET have good toughness and low price, but poor transparency, it not a nice choices.
PC windshield glass has high strength, high transparency and best performance, but also the highest price.
In contrast, PMMA has the highest cost performance, medium price, transparency and hardness, and is the most common windshield material.
